Hey jeff. My edge has been doing good. It under went some repairs thoguh after my accident in snohomish. but has been flying since. i recently had to to take out the motor so i could put it in my primary imac plane for this season. (i hate having lots of glow motors but no gas motors). Im gonna have to start selling some of the glow stuff if i want to get another plane.

On the bottom of the third former back in the tunnel I needed to dremel a half moon in the former to get a little more room for this large canister. So I got on the scroll saw and cut out a holder for the KS-95 using the plywood used to box the aircraft. I added hardwood triangle stock on top of the holder and fuel proofed the bracket for a little more strength. I also added a couple of small pieces of ply on the backside of the former so my screws have something to bite into.

Now I’ll mount it using servo screws from the top were the fuel tank mounts and into the bottom of the former. I use this same system on my 43% with no issues and it’s very light. Again it’s simple and removable once the proper sized canister becomes available for the 85. The last picture is my error on the header drop. I have not screwed everything in place yet until the new one shows up. Again, 50mm drop for a rear exit KS-95 and 25-30mm for the front exit. I hope that all made sense.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to Ken's hard work, the 36% Edge manual has been posted on the PAU web site, and is ready for download.
We will continued to support this thread with answers to questions, and new pictures and/or videos when we can get them.

Nice cannister install Ken, I have always loved that method. I'm going crazy waiting for the weather to get better so I can fly the 43%. If the weathers not looking better this week, I'm going to head south and put this bad boy in the air.

BTW, guess how much sub-trim and travel adjust the elevators needed............NONE!!!!!! Man that makes life so much easier. Top notch design and construction on these suckers.

My 36% should be ready for a maiden this weekend. Will post some completed pics when done. FYI, the Graphtech #222 CF main gear and the rcsupergear for a carden 40% edge is the same fit as the stock aluminum gear and save about 4oz. I ordered rcsupergear from Carden for mine. I am really happy with how the plane is turning out so far, and have had great service from PAU. My wings came damaged and they got me a set right back out to me in no time flat. My setup is going to be a DA 100, Vess 27A, stock mufflers, 8711s in the wings and tail, and a single 8711 on the rudder, dual A123 batts and a EQ 10. I will get an accurate weight as well.
