This is exactly why my PAU 36% Edge is my best flier. With a DA-100 in the nose, I love to see it "dancing in the air". I agree 100% with Herve's post.

I am just wondering how much I would like it with the 85. I already have the 85, and want to use it. I know I can probably get it 24lbs or less with the 85, and think the performance would be ok. Does anyone remember what the stock landing gear weighs?

Performance with the 85 is way more than OK! Kens with the pitts muffler is awesome!

I've flown Ken's on the 85. It wasn't lacking one bit. I'd only say it was slightly louder than the 100 but that could be due to the pitts and prop selection. I've seen Ken wring his out numerous times

Razr, if you want to go for the lightest 2123 sq in aerobat out there, then the DA-85 makes a great choice. I've had the chance to fly Ken's with the DA-85 and pitts muffler and it was not lacking in the least.

Thanks, I will probably go with a can, cant take the noise of the pitts on the 85. CF Gear and a Zeus IBE will more than enough make up for the weight of the can, plus a soda bottle fuel tank will save another 5-6oz

started working on it today. This is a used fuse and I'm buying new wings.

Pinned the motorbox, painted the motorbox grey to fuel proof it.

Spaced the motor out so it fits.

Installed a tailwheel and bracket

Installed the 2 rudder servos in a pull/pull

Installed the elevator servos

Removed the canopy and cleaned it up

Started ripping the old radio gear out of the Aerotech Edge. EQ10, Turbo Reg, ED optic kill, 2 x 4800 LIONs, Spektrum AR9000.

Needed wheel pants so I sanded down my old Aeroworks ones and primed them. Just need to final sand and shoot some white on them.

Not sure what pics everyone wants since its an ARF that is basically done for you.

Here's some quick shots from today though. I'm also going to print an Edge Dash and will most likely be using the Red Aero Pilot for this plane

Here's the motorbox ready for the 3W
