The Ultimate or the Edge? Depending on funds I plan to have both painted. I'm hoping the Ultimate is done right after this weekend so I can do a cowl swap with the painter. I have not totally decided on the Edge design yet. It won't be the same as yours though.

Not much left to do.
1. install wing servo arms and program the servos 2. pick up wheel pants from painter 3. Reinstall Canopy 4. Balance

Yep, just a few little things left. My back and arm are hurting today though. I think I'm done for the night. Looks like maybe Sunday for the maiden.

Ken-h would be the one to ask. He has a da85 in his. I'm using the same headers that I used on my aw260 with my 3w106.

It looks like the information is on post #15 for a DA-85 drop. 50mm. This should work for cannisters and pipes.

Wheel pants are painted! Getting ready to balance and then finish up the last minute things and do some engine tuning at the house. Winds picked up here and the temp dropped so there is no maiden today for sure. Still planning on one for tomorrow though.

Just finished installing a new alternator in a friends truck and then used the box the PAU wings came in to store my Aerotech wings. We also balanced the plane. It came out more nose heavy than I expected. With a pilot and moving my batts to the back of the hatch area things worked out just fine.

Hint: I have been using Clear hinge tape to seal the canopy with good results. Ar you taking a Video of the Maiden? |

That was my temp fix for the maiden. It was the only yellow tape I had, not a good match. I'll probably put some screws in the front and do the clear tape.
I still have not done the dashboard or ordered my pilot figure yet either. Camera is charged.
