I was going to do the wings today but I had to work late and the sun was out so I did a couple other things. I'll hit the wings tomorrow along with the cowl.

Here's a pic of the truck with the bedliner sprayed.

Got alot of work done today.

-Finished the Su-26 repairs so its back on its legs now
-Finished installing the new smoke pump and had to replumb the tank.
-Finished cutting out the cowl for the mufflers.
-Finished installing the batts and giving the fuse a once over.....its ready
-Patched one wing, just needs some covering
-Other wing has a little longer crack along with the hole so the fix might be larger. I'll see in the morning.
-Ultimate cowl has the fuel/smoke dots reinstalled. It'll be ready to fly as well in the morning.

Now can the rain and wind go the hell away.

I was slowed down today. The rain went away and my daughter wanted to play soccer in the yard and ride her bike around so I indulged her. It was windy so no flying anyway.

Here's the wings.....Damage wasn't too bad.

First wing had just some balsa sheeting cracked from the wheel pant.

Second wing had a former break and sheeting. Simple fix. Just some final sanding and it'll be ready to cover.

Wheel pants were cracked pretty bad but some fiberglass and bondo and they have been repainted.

More updates. Reprogrammed the aileron servos with a H9 amp meter and the rudder also sealed the hinges on the ailerons and elevators.

Decided to finish things off since the weather is crap all weekend.

Got the fuse wiring finished.

I printed out a dash instead of buying one. Installed a floor for a pilot figure. Then sprayed it all with fleck stone.

Just need a pilot figure now to complete it all. I ordered new batts for the ignition and smoke today. I don't trust the ones I had on there from the maiden.

I like the lights, I just don't know about unplugging them every time I take the hatch off!

Are you going with another red aero pilot?

Yep, going with another RA pilot. Placing the order later today.

Its not that big a deal to plug the lights in and you don't have to if you don't want to. Everything will work just fine if you don't. I set it up so the leads are long enough (but not in the way of anything) to plug in easily. I'm so used to it now because all my planes have this now.

As for the Dash........Its in powerpoint. I have the file and can send it out. I used regular paper but stock paper or photo paper will look a little better. You just need to trim it slightly. It was easy, you just put it in place with the canopy off and trace around the spots that hangover with a pencil. Very easy, no weight and you can customize the saying on the front. The tinted canopy makes paper panels look just fine. If it was clear I'd go more with the Photo paper or thicker card stock so it didn't look fake. Saved enough to buy the Pilot figure though doing it this way!!!!!

Mine says PAU EDGE 540. Next are some magazines and some things like that for the dash.

I wish I had pics of my old H9 Cap. I did this Maxim Magazine spread on the dash. It was a hit at the Big Bird Fly-in I did back in 2003.

You want me to print a dash for your Edge since I already made the file?
