so your saying she was tail heavy at the suggested 8.5" 3D CG?
would the suggested (first flight) 8" Cg be better?

I would until you get use to it. I believe i am at 8 1/4 right now but it also depends on your flying style too. I found the reason it dead sticked was the klunk came off. I did the tank over with no issues now.

i prefer tail heavy, but not to the point that the elev start getting rediculous and the tail dives with a just a breath of back elev. (or rudder on KE)
but i prefer a bit further back CG, makes the flat spins, harriers, hovers, KEs, a bit more smooth, and easier as well.
