Hi Dave,
Looks like it's coming along just fine! I baffled mine the same way only using depron instead. After installing the depron I then fuel proofed as well and it does not weight anything. Here are some pictures of my hardware install. As you can see, I am not lacking any throw. I used a EQ 10 from Smart Fly. Nice little unit and I did not have add a bunch of match box's. Single receiver of course. I used 8611's for all flight surfaces except the rudder. I ganged two 8711's for that. Ken Last edited by Ken-H; 01-27-2008 at 06:38 PM. |

Hey Dave,
It looks like that thing is still in the house? Your wife has got to be ecstatic about now…lol. Be sure and thank her for the support. Mine would lose it in about three days. I've been banished to the garage for the rest of my days. Ken |

Well, I changed my mind on the rudder. I now have 3 8711's on the rudder. I think for general flying I would have been ok with 2 but hard hukkin may have been pushing it.
Still dealing with snow and wind here, so it looks like St. George or Vegas soon for a maiden flight. I know my way around the St. George field but no so much in Vegas. Any suggestions on which field would be best? David |

Vegas is supposed to be nice weather on Saturday.........its only 1hr from St George.
I'll be at work from now until 7pm Friday but your welcome to call me Friday night and set something up. Both fields are Maiden friendly (St George and NLV field).
