Hi

I Just recieved my 52% G202 from Weimo in Germany and will be doing a build thread on it starting in about two weeks.
Some pictures to wet your appetite.
This is next to my new 3W 37% yak so you can see the size.
Kit is full composite copetition.
Span 3.5 meters

OOOHHHH..

How about some comments on the finish. It looks to be extremely well put together.

What engine
What servos, how many on each surface.

I sort of have an inkling for a 52% bird as we have no real rules on weight etc down here. Had visions of an edge but still neutral.

More info please for us envious guys please.

Hi

This was my first dealings with Olaf from Weimo www.weimo.net after we met at the 3W airshow in Mucke.
I bought the 52% Giles and one 50cc Raven.
When I recieved the kits I was very disapointment as there was a lot of damage especially on the smaller raven fun. All the damage seems to have been by the shipping company.
I e-mailed Olaf and told him about my ordeal. Within minutes I recieved an return mail in which he told me he will send me replacement parts as soon as possable.Even though he was not to blame for the damage.
I wish all the companies that we deal with was this helpfull.
The quality of the composite parts are top notch and very light.
The plane came with white gel coat and all you have to do is fill the seams and paint.
I took full composite wings even though he makes balsa and foam as well.
I will also start a constuction thread on the Raven fun as soon as I recieve the new fuz.

I will send some pictures of all the parts in a few days.

Do you think the airframe would take a 300cc EVO by any chance. I had a look at the homepage and did not see the Edge 540 the Billy Hempel has flying. Is it also made by Weimo?

I am not sure but give me a few days and I will give olaf a call and check this engine for you.
Have any of you guys got a good colour scheme in mind i thought of the following maybe.
Billy is the us dealer for weimo but the edge on his site is his own kit.

Alex, Looks Nice! Looks like it is a good quality kit. Looking forward to the build thread!

Kiwi, I think the Edge that Bill flies (the 52%) is an ACM kit if i am not mistaken. His original 50% was his own design I think.

Damm 52% now im jelous. Mines only 44% and will look small to me now.
