I need to let the paint dry really good. With this colder weather it takes a tad longer. Wednesday should be a good day to put it all together.

Thanks. I do need to repaint the cowl and wheel pants. The paint didn't match good enough for me.

Busted Blade, did you get your landing gear from graphtec? If so do you know what the mold number was?

Yep Graph Tech, No. 234.... fits the TT TOC 35% Extra 260 ARF

Graph Tech Gear is slightly taller (height, about 1/2 to 3/4") and a little narrower in track width (spread about 1") but is so close its not worth worrying over. You will have to drill your own holes as it has none, but is easy to do and takes all of about 20 minutes.

Great guy to deal with and the quality is fantastic.

Thanks. I talked to him a couple of weeks ago and he wasn't sure on the mold number and said he thought that was the one. Now I can get a set coming!

Just gutted out the smoke system. Wow, what a difference! Just in smoke components alone I shaved 17 ounces. Plus 2 lbs of smoke oil reduced rolling take off weight by 3 lbs. It made a noticable difference. I'm just not impressed with smoke systems on rc except on turbines.

Yep, I was going to do a smoke setup on mine but decided against it for the same reasons you mentioned.

Well you just need a 3W110 or DA120 and you wouldn't need to complain about the weight of a smoke system.

Mine flew fine on the maiden with the 3W106. Don't think the smoke system I installed is going to be an issue. I'll let some guys that can 3D better than me wring it out to prove it.

Mine has AWESOME power with the DLE111, way more than is really needed... It could easily haul the extra 3lbs of smoke system without a doubt. Honestly, the main reason I decided against smoke.....Just plain lazy I guess

Maybe one day I'll put it in there just to see what its all about.
