I'll explain. Craven's first name is Greg and he is from the Greater Cincinnati area and thinks everyone wants to be like him.

BTW--I'm from Lawrenceburg and fly at the Cincinnati Aeromodelers, where do you fly??

Marian

LOL...

Welcome to FG!

And your name is a dead giveaway for not being me since I've often been accused of never flying.

Nice to meet you both.

I fly at the Hawks field in Hamilton. check out our web site at www.hawksrc.org. Craven--where do you fly? I haven't been to many other sites other than Hawks and GCRCC field in Trenton. I did some combat at the Richmond Propbusters field a few years ago, but overall not much of an RC traveler. How about you guys? Our field is AMA sanctioned but is a public flying site.

Nice field!! We come there every year for the IMAC held by Ric Musselman--primo event!!!

Our field is an AMA sanctioned members only club but we welcome visitors from other clubs as long as you hold an AMA card.

Marian

Hi Greg and welcome to FG. My son Forrest and I and several other OMP guys often come down and fly with our friends at the GCRCC field. Forrest and I are also members of that club. We hope to meet you this season. We live up in Dayton and normally fly at the Air Force Base.

Craven--I've heard of your club. I think there are guys that come to our four stroke ralley held in Sept each year.

Marian--thanks for the compliment about our field. We are really looking forward to this year's IMAC. Another guy and I just build GP Giant Aeromasters with gas engines. I am trying to talk him into joining me in the beginners group. I was one of the guys cooking last year at the IMAC. Ric has done a good job of promoting the event. I wish we had more club members that would participate.

Salmon--there is at least one of your big profile edges flying at our field. doug cox is also a member of GCRCC, you probably know him. I used to work in Dayton and spend a lot of lunch hours at the Wingmasters field. You and Forest need to come and visit us at the Hawks field.

It's a deal! Well once it gets warmer that is. I flew one of my electrics two days ago and froze my fingers in about 5 minutes! Got my fix though.
