Default COMP ARF Paint

I got a great deal on a CompArf 3.3 Yak that needed some repair.(THANKS MIKE C.) Repairs are coming along OK but I'm looking ahead to the painting.. Has anyone used the touch up paint you get from Comp ARF ? How far does a 1/2 pint can go ??
Because the repairs are located between the canopy and the stab ..I've got 6 colors to deal with... 2x12 inch spot here..1x3 there You get the idea
I could use any and all input from all who have used the paint..

I have read all the threads located here and on RCU about painting and repairs on these planes.... This is a pretty major touch up job .and actually have considered repainting the entire plane....

This plane is the purple/hot pink(fuschia)stripe with 3 shades of teal green and white

thanks for the replys

Bill

Hi, I have used this paint, it is a 4 to 1 mix. I had to paint a small area on my plane approx. 6"x6" and it went quite far. I used small measureing spoons to get the paint mixed and used a gravity feed touch up spray gun.

Did the paint blend/match well Dave ? and was the coverage good or thin needing multi coats ?

I have Fantasy red Extra, the paint matched well for me. I did not use a primer before I applied the paint. Check with Andy Kane, he will know what type of paint this is. The paint may lift the primer if not matched. As for multi coats, I did apply three coats to mine, but two would probably have been good. It all depends on needle setting and pressure. I used some lacquer thinner through the gun first to test pattern, just make sure to allow it dry out of gun before paint goes in.
