Yes the 3M45 is a low tack adhesive, but you have to spray it on the posterboard very lightly or some adhesive will stay on the model. And yes I use the all of the posterboard to keep the sprayed paint protected. I only pull out the parts of the posterboard that I'm wanting to paint, then replace that when I need to paint something else that's a different color.

Are you doing your flames free handed or by stencil?

What do you use for your stensils? Posterboard? folders? I always have a problem when I spray I end up getting some bleeding and results in crapy lines. also u use that 3m restickable gluestick to keep the stensil down?

My favy is the Tiger Yak. Totally original.

Another favorite is some of the biplanes I've seen.

I've been trying out a few color schemes myself. What do you guys think?

I use poster board. If you thin the paint out to much it will bleed. No sticky stuff. by the end of the week I'll be posting a foamy airbrush and build detailed with lots of pic on cutting, outlines, spraying cleanup and the full build of the new storm by insane foamies. For the airbrushing I'll take you step by step on how to mark out your plane cutting your stencil and use of the stencil with stencil layering.
