Don't know yet where. Have a few options on the table but nothing for sure yet. Hopefully will find out at the end of this month. I only made some Funflys while here.

When checking your results, please click on your Imac #, to make sure the information is correct ( # of contests attended). I see there's a problem with Bill Fong, he's only being credited for 2 contests. I think there's also a problem with Pete Johnsons attended Contests.

Pilots,,Please make 100% sure you use the correct Imac # when you fill in the sign-up sheets at the events. If you were late paying your 2010 dues a new Imac # would of been issued from HQ (use that #)..

CD's,,Please make sure you review with you score keepers to cross verify (Data in Computer file=same as sign-up sheet) to make sure the Imac #'s are the same.

Please send me a Email if your Imac info, contests needs adjusting and I'll foward it to Kieth.

If you want your points please check!!!!
Pete Johnson didn't join IMAC until after Zillah.
I did noticed a lot of red sevens on the results (sound).
Also, the Zillah regional contest points are showing up as SW region points if you click on your name for the regional points standing.

Yeah, there are some discrepancies........It looks like they are missing Jeff Merrit's last contest in the regional standings. His results are there but they dont have him as competing in the contest.

Like I said guys. If there's a problem, Please have the concerned pilots send me a Email. This way I can foward the concerns.

Thanks,

Jerry

Hea Dan..
I thought I saw Pete join Imac in Zilla, rather than pay the extra $10.00 at sign-up.

Guys, as Jerry stated please do make sure you are using the correct Imac number when registering for a contest as all points are attached to that Imac number not your name. I will be reposting the Olympia and Zillah results as there were a couple incorrect Imac numbers and Pete did not been given a number yet. If you have any issues with contest results or Northwest points please send me a PM or email me at kbodeau@netzero.net. You can also go to the Imac website and email me thru the link there.

See you all in Wenatchee!!

Thanks
Keith

My two cents: The twenty bucks a night for what Wenatchee has to offer is dirt cheap and a great value. I look forward to flying there. Can't wait to get there!

ATTENTION Olympia Imac Pilots, the scores for Intermediate and Advanced Known round 4 on sunday were lost in the computer, the 4th round DID NOT get scored, I need to see if the following pilots have their score sheets, Mike Raines, Roni Taipale, Rick Gadd, Warren Wilson, Jerry Ruscheinski, I need to get these sheets to Keith Bodeau so we can get this fixed, also if you don't have your sheets they may be with the scoring materials that Darren Kuhn has. let me know what you guy's have. sorry for the problems Rick

Hi Rick this is Roni, I never picked up the 4th round sheet so it's probably with the stuff Darren has.

Noted the loss of points last night and emailed Keith. He has already got back with me, thanks so much Keith

I did check my AMA Card (which is where I have my number for IMAC and it reads 6207 double checked the IMAC sight and it says 6207. So that said I am pretty sure I put 6207 on the sign up sheet in Olympia. It is possible that I was distracted and wrote something different but I am sure I checked it with my card. That said I hope I did not put folks out redoing the data entry if so I owe ya a cold one at the next event.

On the sound issue. Even Jeff Dryer got a 5 on his score sheets for noise. He is elec!!!! The scores on the IMAC site are littered with read 7's and I am sure there were more planes on cans with three blades then what is represented on the score sheets.

For those not in the know here is the break down for a/my plane DA-100R on KS cans with one of the following props and noise in DB.

A Mejz 28X10 two blade is 104 DB prop was super sonic at full throttle. 97 DB with the throttle at 3/4.

A Zoar 27X10 Laminated 104 DB again ripped the prop at full throttle
A Zoar 27X10 Eagle beak or what ever its called with Carbon tips hit a 98DB on the money at full throttle.

All of this to say that one of the fields I fly at is very noise concious and no one can fly with a plane over 98DB.

Now to the point I thought we are supposed to judge noise based upon the type of arresters on the plane along with the prop and throttle management. A score of 10 then points are deducted as the pilot flies their plane. So my interpitation is if on cans or tuned pipes and has a three blade and the throttle is managed in flight then a 10 is to be awarded.

If for example the plane is on straight pipes and throttle is managed in flight then a 5 is given.

If the plane is on straight pipes and the prop is supersonic (no throttle managmement) then a 0 is given.

Is this correct?

My question would be to those who gave 5's. Why are we spending so much money on cans/pipes and different props if we are going to be judged NOT by the rules but "interpitation" of what is loud. Is it me or is this not rocket science.

Same goes for wind correction how can one "interpit" a 9 or a 9.5 score on a manuever that is blown off its intended line by as much as 500 feet. If one can not "interpit" that the pilot is NOT wind correcting. Auhhhhgg why do I even bother

Rick,

I did not pick up my score sheets after round 4 either. Probably with Darren.

Jeff: you make the same points that I mentioned in Sundays pilots meeting, I have seen way too many people get a 5 for sound with all of the right equipment and good throttle management, and if an electric plane gets a 5 then we need to do away with the score completely because it serves no purpose. I believe if you have cans and a quiet prop what else can you do to be quieter than NOT FLY at all. I think you should automatically get a 10 unless you do something crazy with throttle management. these are my thoughts on this again. Rick
