Hi Michael..

Send them to Peter Butschec (Bunnyface) , he's our NWest reporter and looks after all the Pictures. You can go to the National site and click on NWest Events and you'll see on the left side the RD and Assistant RD's plus Peter link.

Or send him an Email

daddiekat@shaw.ca

Thanks..It's nice to keep all the Pictures in one spot for easy viewing

Jerry

Karl, A great choice would be the EG MX-2. Get a hold of Azar on her and he will take care of you. It will be great to see more people in our part of the region start competing. Get that plane comin' and get it together! We have our contest here in Twin Falls usually in late May. Sorry to hear about your loss.

Okay guys, I have been following your thread for awhile now, and I have been thinking about starting out in IMAC for years.

So, is there going to be a warm-up or primer type of event anytime in the near future? I'm in Oregon, but I can travel if anyone is going to have anything happening that would help prepare me for the coming year.

Hmmmm.....conflicted
The guy seems a little creepy but thats just my opinion....I dont really know him. Remember......The girls he "sponsors" are shown all over the internet as "eye candy" to promote his products.
Then again, there are professional models that are much younger than you and this could get you some exposure.
Just dont want our GT to be exploited.....again, just my opinion.....

Miranda,

First of all, you should be flattered for the offer (and I am not suggesting you do it).

Second, I don't know you and haven't met you. I second Castle Bravo's sentiment somewhat. I don't know that Fred is personally all that creepy, but his advertisements over the last year have been somewhat out of place in this hobby. I have conversed with Heather a few times on forums and she seems pretty fun. But I have seen too much of her and Kat in the non-stop ads.

As CB says the women wearing the FLG tee shirts are being 'used' to promote his stuff, and may not necessarily be properly compensated.

Is the offer, "Wear this shirt, get in the pictures at events, and I'll send you some videos and clothes..." or is there actual money involved? It seems like little compensation for the amount of 'exposure' (not talking in terms of 'cheesecake', but in terms of actual face time in ads).

If my sister were approached with this kind of offer, I would expect her to find out exactly what is involved in terms of compensation, expectations, etc. Most likely you will find that much is expected but little will be given.

Definitely see what he means by 'sponsor'. Definitely you should be flattered for the notice, but don't automatically jump on it.

I will spare you the "girls and boys" speech, just remember all men are dumb when it confronted with a woman in tight and/or revealing clothes. It is impossible to avoid, images speak directly to our brainstem and all following actions are far below the level of cerebral cognition. Remember you probably don't want your buddies at the flying field to have seen you in some suggestive poses, because that image will pop right back in our minds at the next IMAC event...

Just be careful!

Good luck!

BT
