Who thinks they could get their 15 minutes of fame this way. ??? I say don't count on it.
I'm not sure how an F-15 could bring down a ParkZone aircraft, but it would be interesting. A 30 nm radius is huge; it covers our field which is almost 1/3 of the way to the Coast from Portland.

Seattle also gets a flight restriction From around 9pm Wed night to around 2:30 PM Thursday.

I'm thinking it wouldn't be an escort or a missile but rather a jammer. Similar thing happened to a guy that flies out at Sky Nights. Problem was he was test flying a military proto type UAV (In Texas) uuummm for the military. The million $ bird was shot down by a frequency jammer. Guess someone forgot to look at the memo. LOL. I had a chance to see pics of the plane it was slated to be used as a air to sea recon plane.

***? Why couldn't they do this over the weekend when it is supposed to rain constantly?

I hate election time.

FWIW, I also hate that the baseball playoffs pre-empt The Simpsons...

Go Rangers. Crush the Evil Empire.

Yeah, the Dusters are right on the edge the circle. Take pride in knowing that our pres is protected from clear and present threat posed by toy airplanes There are a few RC terrorists that I believe decided to cancel their activity due to the no fly zone over Portland and Seattle.

The sattelites are watching (and listening) all flying fields for any hint of violation. Please don't give the government a reason to use their Particle Beam weaponry on those sattelites. Your 2.4 gig will not save you

I'm going flying today until 4:30. Who's with me? ( I'd put a smiley face here, but all the cool ones were removed)

The Flight restriction is not until 5:01. Why cut your last good weather day short?
