Daniel,

You should get one for all the promo you have done with your videos on Extreme Flight aircraft. However.....I don't think you can catch this one out of a hover with one hand.

From what I've seen from owners with this size plane, you have to go with a 200 which is a very spendy motor. They don't seem to be happy with the power even with a 170 on pipes. That's why I decided myself to go with the 40% Carden as opposed to the 43% if I ever gen one.

I really don't agree with you on this. I have one of the Extreme Flight Extra 300 & now have 231 flights on it. I fly in IMAC Unlimited in the SE. I have flown 7 contests with the aircraft & have 4 first places, 2 seconds and 1 third in its first year of competition.

I have been flying with a DA 170 using KS 1090 tuned pipes and a Mezjlik 29x12N 3 blade prop & there is MORE power from this combination than is needed for Unlimited.

I just thought that you should know.
thanks,
Wayne

The DA170 on pipes has the same power, if not more, as the DA200. And it is lighter. And flying this setup on the EG 42% Raven, which weighed in at less than 37lbs, it was awesome!

Many people are running this plane on a 170 and pipes and it has plenty of power. There really is not that much diffrence between a 170 on pipes and a 200 on mufflers.

LOL!!!!!!!! ...okay. ...I was just hearing the 'rumor mill' story on the maiden flight and thought Azhar may shed some light on how it actually went???

On a fun note... I got to maiden my new little foamy today (rcxplanes Yak)! A bit windy out here in Spokane, but was still fun!
