Well with any kind of luck it appears we may be getting a break in the weather. Looks like I may be able to get out at least once, in the next few days. Prefer not to fly on the weekend, but I'll check and see how busy the field is. Here's the ten day from The Weather Channel: http://www.weather.com/weather/tenda...ink_undeclared. Off for the next three weeks with vacation.

What is it? Why, it is a blatant act of lameness on my part
Due to scheduling conflicts and other assorted acts of lameness the Okanagan contest is off for this year

On a happier note Surrey BC, is having 2 contests this year and Surrey is much closer for you fine fellows. I have also learned the ways of the Bahama Momma and I will be bringing copious amounts of the core ingredients with me along with popcorn to all contests I attend.

I have just one very small favor to request, pleeeeeease... no cussing on my thread! Thank you and oh, by the way, tell Russ to quit being so lazy. We want everyone to come down here and fly with us, no matter how far you have to travel. We'll have one night where we just cuss up a storm....fair trade? That's a joke! See you soon.

My apologizes Rainman didn't mean to disrespect you, Judge Wapner or Tom Cruise( JOKE). Russ would not of taken any offense. I am well aware how hard Russ has worked at gettin Imac goin in BC thus the joke. I have made an offer to Russ to hold Osac in Trail at our field. I hope he Bites. We have a very nice facility with Unlimited skys to play in. And only 2 miles from the US border. The field is on my avitar.

No problem buddie, thank you very much. Trust me, I have been known to spout off a few colorful remarks too. I was only thinking of forum regs, and I would be more like Tom Cruise. You know... short, rich, all the girls..... only in my dreams... all except the short part... Ha! Not trying to be the hall monitor though. I look forward to your contest, hope you can get it scheduled. We are thrilled at the Canadian presence in IMAC. Great enthusiasm you guys have. This is the kind of stuff that brings Countrys together. See you soon my friend.

Soooooo, has anyone out there been able to get any practice in? We're coming up on a couple of nice days here so hopefully we'll be able to take advantage of them and get in the air. Hey Nick, where are you? Haven't seen you for a while. Let's get on the field this weekend! You too Darren, Dan, Kyle, and....

Also, I expect we will have a foamy freestyle at the Polar Bear on Saturday. Probably in the eve, so everyone bring your foamy and music, and we'll rock!

Hey you posted this today. No Rainman sightings at the field today. Get out there and practice man! As soon as I finish the break-in oil in my fuel jug, I'm getting the IMAC plane out for some practice. Just happy to be back for starters!

Went night boarding with my daughters. Just got back. We were shredding up the terrain and we even went in half pipe climbing both ends with huge air.
You should have been there Rev
Maybe not huge air but we did go up pop and turn. It was an amazing display of courage for me and Angie. Green as we are. Soon I will be taking that Sleepmaster to task.
You tell him I comin. Tell him Im coming and Hells comin with me!
Thats right sleep master. Your days are numbered.

Well, I got out Saturday and flew my Edge only to find out I need to work on the low end. Ran great on the ground but way too much burble in the air. So yesterday I load up the Extra to fly the sequence for the first time and when we arrive at the field there are 6 guys standing around with their hands in their pockets and no planes out. Seems we had very strong winds out of the north with severe cross-winds (90° at your back) on the end of our runway. Well we found out early that my Extra does not like crosswinds. Almost lost it once on short final due to a gust. My friend Terry shows up with his 40% and has trouble landing it. Terry is one of our top instructors. So, discretion being the better part of valor, I came home. Hopefully these winds will go away and we'll get some good flying weather. Sunday was supposed to be the better of the two days.
