FastandLow,
You should have a contest in Trail. It would be the closest one for us here in Spokane and CDA. It's not hard to become a CD. As far as help running the contest there are a lot of us that would be more than happy to help with that part.

That's awesome ,Thanks. I still haven't heard back from Russ our zone rep on the contest(must be in Mexico or something). I'm more than willing to Cd an event if that weekend is open. I also need to talk to our Airport coordinator and figure out a couple issues. I'm not sure if I can swing the onsight camping. But if I can't there is a campsite 1/4 mile down the road, It's beautiful and right on the river off the end of the main runway. I'm very glad there is some interest in this. I will E-mail Bruce Hanely when I confirm the dates are open with the Airport hopefully today.

Everyone out there we will have a foamy freestyle, with either trophy or prizes on Saturday eve. So be prepared, bring your RV cause you'll want to stay at the field. We will do all we can to ensure a fun time for all. We will also have a freestyle competition for IMAC planes.

This contest is shaping up to be the best Polar Bear event yet! I still say the best part of IMAC is the people and we have so many awesome flyers coming. This will be the 51st anniversary of The Polar Bear and only the second year of becoming a two day contest. For me it's very special because all the friends that "scatter in the wind" after the IMAC season come back together. IMAC seems to be like a family that just keeps getting larger and more fun. If what they say, "variety is the spice of life," is true, then we have it all. The colorful, beautiful and finely crafted planes we all fly, combined with some very nice and hilarious personalties, makes the whole IMAC experience an adventure.

If you are yet undecided on coming to fly at The Polar Bear, I would encourage you to start making plans to be here. We'll miss you otherwise and you'll miss us too. One thing you can't recoup is a contest you, for whatever reason, didn't make it to. So please, give me a shout here, or on our website www.seattlerams.com , and I'll do my best to convince you to come and join us for a blast of a time!

I would like to thank all of you who have contributed into this thread. You guys from Canada, thank you for your entrees and in advance for traveling down here to compete. I hope all you competitors in Oregon, Idaho and Washington will also be here. The more the merrier! Serious "airtime" is coming.... see you soon..
