Wow! Speaking of ghosts, how have you been JV? Now that Ryan is back, I see a few of your moves in his 3D. When are you going to come down and fly with us? I have a couple of planes I'd like to film you wringing out.

One thing Michael forgot to mention - we have a website, and the full listing for the Polar Bear is there. Directions, Awards etc.

Too bad the webmaster sweats over these things day after day and gets no appreciation or references. Boo! Hoo!

Check it out at http://seattlerams.com/Database/Cont...fics.asp?ID=22

You can sign up and let us know if you will attend there as well.

I won't be flying the Polar Bear, but may be the oldest guy attending that flew the polar Bear - back in the early 70's. Any contenders????/

You are flying pretty darn good Pops. You could easily fly Basic. All you have to do is step up. Actually, I think Greg might have you by a few years! It's okay though, if you flew, then who would be there to put up with my cantankerous self? I am lucky to have you.

Dang Ryan, now I know just how much I meant to say it looks like JV has been copying your moves....... I hate it when my other self kicks in like that. The last thing I want to do is be a :25:. Just remember, it doesn't matter who taught who the 3D :fencing:, it is only important that you two remain friends :22a:. You should talk JV into coming down to fly with us. Then we could really tell who really is the who of whoville...... . Don't get to cold there pal. Better have a couple of lattees.

Just joking around with ya, Mike! It's all in good fun. John and I are 3D twins, we spent lots of days at the field together crashing SPADs and learning to hover whatever junker we happened to be flying that week. Doesn't stop us from giving each other crap all the time though! fg43 I keep trying to convince him to come fly some IMAC, maybe this will be the year he finally does? The more cool guys we have at the events the better!

Heya Mikey!
Thanks for the props on flying, but in reality, Ryan is a precise mofo , his competition look like for a reason! I just flip the sticks and see what happens, occasionally I get lucky but I have fun, if it wasnt fun, I wouldnt have all these planes.

Ill make it to some imacs this year, see how I like it. When I was living in Auburn I enjoyed practicing imac with Ryan, never have flown at an event yet. Id at least like to get back there to see all my old flying buddies, and make more!

peace!

I take my mofo very seriously, that's how I got so precise at it! John's just psychologically sandbagging here folks, he plays it all cool and subtle then pulls his plane out and :22a: everyone with his flying skills. all you guys better hope he doesn't come to a contest or else........

Hey Kevin,

I kinda agree with Sleeping Beauty. I mean, afterall, I am moving up to Intermediate, and Lord knows I could spend another year in Sportsman, but you, already a top flyer in Intermediate not moving up to advance is like taking candy from babies..... sorta....kinda ! I would think you would look forward to new maneuvers and new competition. If you don't believe me, ask your plane! It has no idea how to fly anyway except straight and true. I guess insurance that you'll most likely win is not such a bad thing though.....is it ?

Okay, just brainstorming here, don't let it deter you from sticking to your guns .
The rest of us in Intermediate are not even phased with your decision ! I just thought I would share it with the world buddie...

Are you coming to the Polar Bear? I have been having some long conversations with my plane lately and we're excited to fly this season.

See you soon,
Rainman

Darrin,

Did you get your plane fixed yet? With the exception of my cannisters, which are currently being repaired, I am almost ready to be back into the air. By the way, I was just wondering about the gas thing, the landing gear thing, were you emmulating me, or was I emmulating you? Whatever, can it please stop, I can't afford to keep up with you. Whats next.... the Hilton. You have got it all Predator! Fly....Fly...Fly..., oh, and don't wake up Sleeping Beauty or he will freestyle your wings off. Remember he flys only 4 minutes.... not 20! Ha! joke, joke, joke... I will admit though, he does usually make 20 minutes betwen naps. (If you are reading this SB, sorry, remember it comes from the heart, all with a good sense of humor.)
