Where are you adding them in the root AFPD directory?

Hey Guys, I had the same problem with a few aircraft and found that I labeled the folder with the wrong name. You have to make sure you use the exact name as the .tgo, .tmd, .tmg files. For instance when you open the yak55 zip folder find the file names with the yak55sp.tmd file name and make a new folder in the aircraft section of the IPACS folder in your program files as yak55sp not just yak55. Hope this helps, but I found myself labeling a few files wrong as there were several name files in the zip folder. If just one letter is spelled wrong you wont find it. Let me know if this helps. I know it seems to easy. also I found that there were just a few corrupt files I couldnt load. Good luck!!!!

No I have fixed those problems before but, this is different. The zip file opens a program, and it automatically installs the planes, I cheaked and everything matches up.

Any other ideas, Matt

Hi Matt, which plane are you trying to download? I will try it on my system and let you know if I have the same issues. I have installed several planes from rodeo with good results, but have not used them lately. I also have a program called AFPD wizard which automatically installs select aircraft depending on the designer and who is using this tool. Some of these aircraft have given me a black screen or just kept freezing up my computer. Try to manually install these if this is the program your using. Hope this helps and lets figure this thing out!!!

Hi guys,

I had that problem, but i solved it recently,

This is what I read somewhere
  • Go to your planes (eg extra 330s) folder
  • Open the .TMD file in notepad
  • find the line 'version:'
  • Make sure that the vesion is 1.8.0
And it should work.

Thanks
