That is the lanier kit from tower for 399.99.........you won't find it cheaper than that.

out of stock. besides, I'm not trying to be cheap, just difficult. lol If I can get a good deal on X-RATED's Edge, this issue will be settled!

I agree with a Carden, but there is a Lanier Edge that I've heard is pretty decent.

Just went by the Carden site and they have announced CNC cut interlocking motor boxes for their kits at no additional charge!

They looks spiffy and would take much of the objection out of building a Carden.

I noticed that, but that doesn't include the Edge 540 AND the Edge kits went up $100. The new boxes are only for the Extras. BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I will give them credit for the work, though. CNC ROUTER Cut, not laser, is awsome.

how does the lanier kit stack up in the kit world?? I got one on closeout but don't want to waste my time if the finished product is going to be inferior! I am pretty new to large gassers. I have been building and flying glow for years.

PS I am missing a couple of pcs. I could easily make but I did get return labels sent to me. So I can return for free and full refund.

Not for the 35% kits yet either

Now that they stepped it up, I'm sure it's a short matter of time before they do this for most if not all of their kits. Not that I want an extra or another 35%, but I'm willing to bet these new upgrades are a big hit on the market. Now if they would cut me an Edge, I'd be part of the Carden groopies. Until then, I'll keep looking, but it'll probably be too late. I hope to get a 40% in the next few weeks, if I find what I want anyway.

I know it was already mentioned, but if you haven't found anything yet, take another look at the PAU 43% Edge 540. I know there is not much info or history on these planes yet as they are new, but Ken has been flying his prototype at our field for some time now and it totally rocks!!!

I know you said you don't care for the scheme or the single place, but this is gonna be one of the best flying planes out there!!! The covering on these are flawless AND they are all done in PEARL Ultracote, so they look much better in person than any picture can.

I gave up and found something else. I considered the PAU for about an hour but just couldn't get past the colors. :homo:Haven't been able to find a good looking, airframe only so I have commited to something else.

Just my opinion. you can like it all you want and I won't say anything about it. I just don't like large amounts of yellow on an airplane. Now an ARC version for $1300 and I'd buy one.

No worries here! Each to their own, and I CAN understand the yellow thing. Lots of people feel the same way.

When I saw your flag "smily" I thought for sure you were looking at the PAU 30% edge w/ the rainbows!!
