Default New Giant JR Servo?????

Hey guys, I was looking around last night and came across a picture that I thought looked interesting. I couldn't find out any information about it but thought that I'd post it here to see if anyone else had heard anything about it. It looks like a giant JR servo (physically). Have any of you seen this before? Care to share any information?

Thanks!!!

Don't know what it is, but it looks like it's got an AirWild servo arm that's made for a Seiko PS-050 splines...

I could see it being a replacement for the Seiko. Looks to be about the size range.

And are selling them for $500.00 he he. The casing looks exactly like the PS050, I think Simpleton is on to something.

Sure it looks like a Seiko but this one says it's digital, maybe an improved Seiko, or someone painted a Seiko black and put a sticker on it.

I've never owned a Seiko so I don't have anything to compare it to.

It would be nice to have a one digital servo solution for rudders.

Even if they were $400-500, 4 8611 or 8711's cost about the same.

The rounded top case held on by 4 screws and the webs to the mounting flange sure look "Seiko". You might be able to pull the digital amp board out of a 8711 and hook it up to a Seiko motor/geartrain in the servo, that might explain the numbers on it. Not an 87 11, but a 17 111. And that'd explain the servo arm, just a regular Seiko AirWild assy.

Or it's a Seiko painted black with a sticker on it.

E-mail the pic to McConnville and get something straight from the "horses mouth." (Sorry Mike..... figure of speech....) I myself saw this at an April Fool's trade show in South Africa...... It actually has 63 case screws, is meant for throttles for 70% planes only, and has a Briggs and Stratton horizontal shaft 5 horse motor to power the gold plated titanium gear train. It is manufactured in Stephenville, Texas for JR. Call Bubba at BR-549 for info........
