After the filling has set I fiberglassed the tank tray to the sides of the fuse the cf side supports, and the wing tube.
I also built the fuel tank, next is to set the DA- fuel dots for fuel and smoke |

While the big game was going on...GO NY GIANTS!!! I cut the holes for the ignition wires and lined them with fuel tubing that was split , I glued it in place with CA.also drilled the firewall for the red wire.
Drilled the prop to fit the DA-150.So what do you think? Looking more like she wants to fly. Can't wait!!!!!!I also drilled the hole for the fuel supply line.. |

Looking good, but one thing I think you should do is sleeve the fuel line. I put a sleeve on everything going through the dome. Again, your install looks good and is very clean.

I will, I just don't have one right now and I don't want to use fuel line, may use the left over tubing from the can mount to sleeve it. thanks for the insight. And I'll also put the black protective wrap around the ign. wires as well

looks fine to me Tex,I am sure the maiden on the 260 is going to be boring too.
Yesterday I ordered all the aluminum servo arms, a 4 3/4" offset bell crank did not have the 5", I will cross the pull-pull wires,3* offset swb engine mount, and the ends for connecting the pull-pull wires to the bell crank, and today I ordered the 12FGA radio with rx and a second rx,now I do not have to worry about being on the same channel as another person, just change freq. from the tx. I will order the remaining 3 9156 servo's after lunch ( just as soon as servo city opens up after lunch) Unless someone can talk me out of this I will not be putting the powerbox royal in the plane. this will almost take care of all the ordering except for spinner, conn. ends, switches, batteries, tailwheel, |

Let me get this straight, you are going to put a high dollar plane in the air with out a reduntant reciever system. I thinkyou should talk to Reza before you make your final call on that. How are goig to match all those servo's, or I'm I missing something.

Tex, it's not the matching of the servos that has my concern.
My concern is if the powerbox fails, the unit itself, what happens to my plane? At least with 2 rx with its own power supply, crisscrossing the serfaces, right wing left elev, left wing right elev. on rx's. then if one system goes out I will still have the plane to land and find the prob. To this day I have yet to have a rx go bad on me unless I distroyed it when I crashed for some other reason, only when I ran the r/c boats did I ever lose a rx, when it got wet,but just think of what you did in the begining of your start in the hobby, 1 battery, 1 rx 1 switch and had a blast doing it and never give it a second thought, by putting two in this plane I think will be the same. Lose one rx and the wing + elev.( opposite sides of the plane) I can still fly and land the plane, but like I say what is going to happen to my plane if the powerbox goes???? Now if it was to totally fail, and i could still have control, that would be worth putting it in my plane, and to match all the servos I will use servo synchronizers if the new tx will not handle all the servo's itself.(12fg with 14 channel rx's X 2 fromeco bat, regs, hvy duty switches. I recieved the swb offset engine mount, rudder tensioners, and 4 1/2 bell crank in today, I also recieved all of the aluminum servo arms in today, but I will have to order 4 more servo arms for the elev., I ordered 1 in and need 1 1/2 in. I sure hope it comes out light.!!!
I am 98% sure of the two rx, It's going to take four synch. to get everything right if the rx's will not handle the load. Today I removed my washers from out behind the engine, mixed some resin and fuel proofed the firewall. After the resin dried i installed the SWB 3 degree offset engine mount, glued some tubing in for the fuel line sleeve where it passes through the firewall. fuel proofed and added some fiberglass cloth to the front, middle, and backside of the landing gear supports.Moved one servo back in the rudder servo tray to install the bellcrank block where the fourth servo should go.fuel proofed the cans mounts. |

mounted servos in the aileron servo tray and took some measurements for turnbuckles, also took measurements for the rudder and elev. turnbuckles.
made NEED LIST of what is left to order. 2-5200 mah fromeco lith-ion battery packs 2-fromeco regulators 3-hvy duty switches 1-2000 mah nick-met 6v ignition pack 1-5" tru-turn Ultimate spinner w/ light backplate 12-2" turnbuckles 4-2 1/2" turnbuckles 2-3" turnbuckles 2-5" turnbuckles XL tail wheel assembly 12- male and 12 female connector ends And this puppy will be ready for the range checks and system check, unless work gets in the way, I should be done in two to three weeks, I will order everything off the list on the 15th, I finally put the rudder onto the fuse and man did that ever make this plane even bigger!!!! |

sorry Tex here are some pics.
skymaster I will be setting it up for both, from what I understand from this plane its not going to take much to make this plane do what you want. I will be getting the tailwheel from Ray Labonte from Comp.-ARF, this tail wheel is suppose to be like the leaf spring type but all composite. |
