Mine isnt bad in the wind with the .46 but I would imagine a bit more weight and it would handle it a bit better.

I think once you try something bigger your not going back.
The more I fly this plane the better it gets...Very smooth flyer

I wouldnt. The Hi-Tech 225MG's work well, are affordable, wont add any extra weight and are less work to fit. Mine have held up very well.

Hi , im just finnishing mine off... any thoughts on what prop i should use, motor is an Irvin .53, should have enough power.

i was at a show today, and the traders that i spoke to, said the irvin was only good for upto a 13", sounds a bit weird to me, i was thinking the 14X4 would be ok.

oh ive gone for 2 elevator servos, seemed like the best way to go with the glow conv....

Maybe just start off with an APC 12 x 6 and if it isnt enough then possibly a 13 x4W prop. I am using a 12 x 6 on my OS.46 and am happy with it, and yes, two elevator servos when converting to glow.

one more Question though....

im using a jr 2610 trannie and a jr NER-549X RX but i cant get the twin elevator servo to mix, am i using the wrong RX.
its a lttle harsh servo wise at the mo... the airframe shakes a little when i give the sticks a move.

Is there a weight savings going to nitro over electric power, if so how much weight saved?
