Sure....the ground to the top of the cowl is just about 13 inches...the ground to top of canopy just about 14 1/2 and just sbout 14 from the ground to the rudder. The width of the tail section is just about 24 inches.
Hope that helps... Blair

Alright,
Plan to get one of these and build over the winter. For gear i plan on using... 225mg's on ailerons and 2 on elevator DS821 on rudder Saito 82 How will the plane balance out with that setup? I didn't really get a chance to read through the thread, but i saw guys were changing tanks. Which should i go with for the saito? |

I have the fuel tank against the wing tube and the battery in front of the tank...I am not using a four-stroke but the weight is about the same using the same servos ( except for the rudder, which is an HS-475 ).
I used the tank the conversion kit came with.... Blair

Also, I understand that the glow "conversion" is nothing more than another piece of ply that glues over the exisiting e-power firewall. True? Or did you use any tri-stock or other reinforcement? It would seem that the supplied tank is undesirable (judging from those who said they replaced it), and I have a bunch glow pieces/parts lying around, tanks, etc. The tail wheel set-up is marginal? . |

Hi Steve, i used the sullivan tail wheel setup far better and i used a thicker engine mount the ef one is to be honest not up to the job, I used a nylon one from my model shop, i will take some pics later today. The tank is way to big used a tank out of my hangar 9 piper cub its about 10-14oz, remember the 91 sips fuel. I would definately beef up the landing gear with tristock so many people have had issues with them and the engine box is just ply plates glued on top of the many holes. Now the plane flies very well with the OS91 you will not be disapointed b ut remmber it is a heavy motor and will require a large pack to balance. I will take some pics of batt placement also.
Mine has been well used and abused, but flies really well, its the plane i fly when im not out with my QQ 86 it is a real peach. Mark |

Thanks, Mark. I read the on-line manual last night; I see what you're talking about.
Frankly, I'm having trouble buying into the mini-servo thing. Think I'll keep looking... ![]() . |

anyone using a two stroke?
How does this plane compare to the fliton Andrew Jesky 330? I know EF is larger and lighter wing load. How do they both 3d and high alpha harriers? Any wing rock in EF or Fliton? Anyone have both? Which one is better for 3d? Specifically for High alpha harriers? |

Heres the pics OS 91 and inside for balance. The extra uses mid size servos and they are good, just have to buy another one when you crash it!
I have both and love them both My AJ extra is a blast flies really light and will do anything, but the extra flies in the wind and is more precise. They are too very different beasts, well they are if you put an OS91 in one. I would go AJ extra for plane 3D fun although buy both you wont be disappointed. Mark |
