This is how it was balanced before the crash.

The engine was hinged so :

And the RX battery :

Now, after the crash:

I'm rebuilding the plane. Will stick 55AX in it

I've been waiting to buy one of these, but they're out of stock. Anyone heard when they will have some more?

The 58" Extra is sold as an "Electric" version....we have a "Glow Conversion" kit which is sold seperately and includes the throttle linkage, tank, and the wood pieces for the firewall.
I do believe there is an "Addendum" in the Multi-media section showing the steps for the conversion which is quite simple to do and takes very little time with the conversion kit.

Right, danielph said he was selling his electric that was already built. Meant to say I was planning to buy the plane and conversion kit from your website, but the 58" kit is out of stock.

When, if, will be engine cowls available? Mine is quite crashed and shattered. Seems easier to get one from USA as to repair the old one.

Well, aside from the bottom probably being cut out a bit from Airflow, it can basically be converted anytime....but I would prefer to do the conversion right away ( as to not have the air escape needing to be recovered )

Cowls are available now...we have a few in stock in both color schemes...
Problem is mailing it is a bit expensive as the Post Office has raised Priority Mail prices...

I can give you an honest opinion over on this side of the water. This plane is more 3d capable then the Sukhoi I have bad rock in the Sukhoi that does not want to go away . Only way really is to make and put on a set of SFG . Also this plane just seems way more locked in to me then the Sukhoi . Ive had 2 Suks and 3 Extras , first Sukhoi was lost due to a wing bolt issue that 3DHS does not seem to want to fix(They took care of me but their planes and pilots are still having wing bolt failures over a year later) so watch out for that ! You wont see any of this posted to much for fear of getting stones thrown at you .
