Video is up on the home page with a few short clips of the production plane.
This is a production model, 3MM TOC 53cc engine/stock muffler. Just over 16lbs ready to fly with JR 2.4 and NIMH batteries.

Cowl Tips:
This cowl is very tight on the mounts. Becareful the first couple of times untill it stretches some, and it will. I suggest leaving it on as much as possible while working on wings and tail surface. When mounting it should slide back to cover the wood bulkhead in front of the canopy hatch.
When marking screw holes I found a small bendable flashlight (will post pics) on a dowel to work great.
1: make sure blind nuts are free of balsa dust.
2: tape light to a dowel and bend tip 90 degrees
3 place dowl with light into cowl on up into the cowl mount from behind. The light will shine through the cowl for marking. Make sure it is 90 degrees when in the cowl up behind the blind nut.

Also the 6 black silicon rings in a rectangle mat are for the cowl mount screws. Just push the 3mm screw through the hole and the grommet will pop out. The small step insets into the cowl for a cushion to protect the cowl from vibration.

I considered making the cowl holes large enough to accept the step in the grommet (haven't yet) thinking that would help prevent vibration from wallowing the holes out but the grommets will eventually wear out and I'm not sure if I know anywhere to get a grommet with a step. Except maybe from Dawghouse.

Yes you want to open the cowl holes for the step. This will keep the vibration from opening the cowl hole futher by wearing against the thread.
We will be stocking this product shortly (available by toledo) so don't worry.
