Default aerotech p-51

Hello all. I am just trying to find out as much info on the aerotech scale p-51 that i can before I drop a load of dough on one. I have built the top flight 1/5 scale mustang and am looking for something a little more scale as the real aircraft. Any help will be appreciated.

Its very nice. A little heavier than most. You can scale it to the wall. Lots of detail already there. Its made of CF weave on the inside so 2.4 might be risky for your radio.

Hello all. I did buy the aerotech and I am very pleased how it turned out. Great kit mostly already done for you but alot left for the builders imagination to "trick" out this nice bird. She has a Da-50 and is covered with flight metal. I still have a few things to complete before her maden weight is approx 28 pounds.Click image for larger version

Thanks for the good comments!!! Pictures really dont do her justice. This was my first truely scale airplane and it was a bear at times especialy with the flight metal. Its not easy to apply and was a real learning curve!!!!!!! Also the wheels pictured in the photos will soon be replaced with scale Glennis Wheels.

At first he had it listed for 14k. Then he lowered it to 10k as if some idiot was going to buy it. And then...there were a lot of people saying...oh..if I had the money..I would buy it...well..the reason they dont have the money is because they would buy something stupid like that...I personally like the trouble the builder went to add a hatch, but put the guage on the outside...

Anyway enough with the RCU P-51...your Aerotech P-51 is incredible. Its one of the nicest I have ever seen. Enjoy it..and when you are ready to sell it..You know its worth big money on RCU...
