I want to ask which 2008 IMAC schedule is correct. The IMAC website is different from the threads posted here. Also both the "Tenative" thread and the one RB posted in the forums are different.
Three seperate sources of information and all three are different. I'm trying to plan this years contests out and its impossiable with all the mis-information. Please, I suggest that RB delete his post and we use the "Tenative" thread as it has FIRM notations on all but one date. I'm also treating the information on the IMAC site as solid information but its very incomplete compared to the "tenative" thread.

Jason,
The IMAC website is different form the "Tentative" thread because that is what it is. Tentative. The IMAC website is the official schedule. The dates you see on the tentative are dates that Contest Directors have told me that is when they want to have it. When they are on the IMAC website, they are sactioned events at that point. That is why the IMAC list is different. I do the Tentative so people can start planning their year. So for the most part that is the schedule. Especially the ones that have the "Firm" beside them. They are on that weekend. The "Tentative" contest are still getting permission from their repected clubs. Has for the third thread you are talking about that RB is posting. I don't know what that is. Hope this helps, Rick

Thanks RB! The other thread (as Dale pointed out to me) is for 2007 but its somewhat confusing unless you read the main body of the first post.
this one: Posted by khedge http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...-schedule.html So are the FIRM dates waiting on Sanctioned approval? I'm guessing thats why the firm dates are not listed on the IMAC site schedule. Thanks again, Jason

No problem! The firm dates are waiting on the sanction. That is why my event isn't even on the IMAC list.
Rick
