Hey Guys-
The Reactor Bipe is in customs...and will be in the Champaign warehouse Monday.
I think everyone will be very impressed with the level of quality, engineering and stellar hybrid performance that this bipe delivers.

I have been looking pretty closely at it too. I have a 550 watt power system that is only3 ounces heavier than their reccomended one so I may pull the trigger. it definately has enough wing to add a couple of ounces. Anyone see a reason why this would be a problem?

I have the wings completed and mounted. They include a wing jig that goes on both ends that ligns everything up. So far the plane goes together pretty well. Looks really nice. The cowl is magnet mounted as well as the battery compartment lid. Plane really looks complete. I am going to try and finish it today or tomorrow.

Glad to see you're still going to continue flying Kenny!

You should come up to College Station sometime and fly.

I will look you up if I am ever that way flying Ben, thanks for the invite.

I did get the reactor built but have not flown it yet. So far the plane went together really well. Instructions are straight forward. I used all of the recomended componenets except for the servos. I did go with Hitec HS 65 HB. The only downfall to the plane so far in my opinion are the servo openings. GP reccomends at least 20 oz torque micro servos, but the opneings are very small. The Hitec HS 55 would fit, but nothing bigger than that. Once you cut them out, especially in the tail, there is not much to screw on. The wings are fine to make the openings bigger, but the tail lacks in space. The plane also looks great all together. WIll rpeort on the flight as soon as I can get out.

Got a couple flights on it today and I really like it. I started with a flight power EVO 25 2100 pack and was not to happy. CG seemed off and it was choppy. Went to a flight power EVO 25 1500 11.1 pack and it made a huge difference. CG was dead on, plane floated. It has extremely solid harriers, effortless hovering, rolls are linear and the elevators are very resposive. Fying so far with an APC 10x7 with the suggested set up. I was suprised to find that the suggested rim fire seup was that strong. it pulls this plane around with authority. General flying this plane is really fast and eats up the sky qickly. I did tear out the landing gear on the first flight so I decided to keep it off as well. So far I highly reccomend this one.

Just received mine, I'll be doing a build and review in the Product Perspective page here on FG. This is a really good looking bipe and I can't wait to get it together.
