The way Baffling works is to take airflow and ram it over the heads to allow cooling. Basically what it does is it enters the top of the cowling, swirls around finds the least path of resistance and exits out the bottom of the cowl. the holes around the head are the "Cooling holes" the baffle is air tight against the motor dome and pushes it over the heads. You want to have in the range of the top 1/3rd of the head exposed to "fresh air" Later Chris

Thanks guys!!! Im trying to keep it light. So far I have added 3.0 oz on the complete bird. I believe ill be under 25lbs should be a sweet flyer

I have to split the cowel on my new extra as well, what did you use to cut the cowel without removing to much material?
