Default How to fly a heli

I am thinking about buying a CP heli specifically a Esky belt CP, I do fly airplanes but I am not familiar with the controls on the heli, i.e. what on the transmitter controls the yaw, roll, pitch, and speed? Obviously I would be using a transmitter with the throttle on the left side gimbal (mode 2).

Very similar to a airplane.

Left side is throttle and blade pitch. up and down. There is mixing in the radio for this. Also known as collective

Left side is also rudder. yaw left right..

Right side is elevator, Pitch up and down know as forward and back cyclic
Also aileron on right which controls Roll. Also know as right and left cyclic.

Definately try out a sim first to get the feel for it, if you don't have a sim then a lot of local hobby shops have demo's set up that you can try.
