AFPD with all its addons is pretty damn good, with heaps of free downloads from various sources.

G4 has EXCELLENT graphics....but I tend to prefer AFPD... it takes a bit of tweaking... but I really like it

G4 in my experience. I never was impressed with AFP's graphics, physics, or general setup.

G4 must be pretty good if it makes AFPD look so bad to some people.

I haven't flown G4 but would like to if it's as good as you guys say.

My only negative comment on AFPD is as someone else has mentioned, the unrealistic stall where an aircraft tends to just come down vertically without dropping off into a spin to one side as a real aircraft would. This is also manifested in an unrealistic snap roll, or rather a refusal of a rearward CG aircraft to snap roll realistically.

Apart from that AFPD is very impressive to me, especially with helicopters.

Cheers
