Default MX2 for IMAC?

I went to a fly in this weekend and a guy there had a Comp ARF MX2. This is an airframe that I'm always curious about what it can and can't do. I really like the looks and I've read that it's a great freestyle plane, but I haven't heard much about its abilities in precision aerobatics. I've read that the Giles is great for precision except for its tendency to over-rotate in snaps. However, the MX2 has different wings. So, I guess my question is, how does the MX2 do in precision aerobatics?

Granted an Extra or a Yak would probably be better, I'm just curious if anyone is flying one for IMAC and such.

Default Re: MX2 for IMAC?

I have one. 3W157, duralights, crossbreeding of JR and Hitec servos. Flies very nice, yes it is a freestyle monster. As for IMAC, I do not have it trimmed out quite to my liking yet. still mucking with aileron differential to make the rolls look "nicer"
I am sure it will be just fine once I get it dialed in. It snaps and spins nice (no over rotation) holds any line nice, upright or inverted.

As for 3D I have never flown it's equal.

Aaaaand it looks cool.

I have a MX2 and I am getting closer to having it set up for IMAC. It has quick roll response and somtimes hard to stop on mark, however it is a very nice flying plane.
