Default Why can't I make a new paragraph in my threads????

Guys, EVERY time I start a new thread, or a new post on this forum, I CANNOT seem to make my post contain a new paragraph at all! I mean, many times I like to ask several questions in one thread, and it's SO EASY to list them in order from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.... Listing them in a vertical line, in order, helps others to reply. HOWEVER, I CANNOT do this. ANY text that I type in a thread or a post, shows up as ONE HUGE paragraph, which just runs on and on, and I can't for the life of me figure out WHY? I've NEVER found a forum that would not allow me to hit the "ENTER" button, and then "TAB" to start a new paragraph. WHY can I not do this? What is the problem, or what needs to be changed? I'm baffled I tell you. LOL! Thanks for any help guys. Oh yes, I have one more question: Is there a way (like on most every other forum on the net) to go into my Profile and permanently check a box, which will ALWAYS automatically subscribe me to ANY thread or post I make? (I'm talking INSTANT EMAIL notification, NOT daily, etc). As it is right now, I have to check the email notification box EACH time I post a new thread. Did I just miss this option in my PROFILE SETUP?I will check again to be sure, but I thought it was not there? Thanks.

New paragraphs

1. 1st one

2. 2nd one

3. 3rd one

Does it happen on the quick reply and advance posts? Hit the enter key to start a new paragraph.

Hm, I'll give it a shot too.

I can hit enter, but if you hit tab it does leave the box, but that is just the way computers work...

Indents aren't required

I can't get an indent to work either, I just hit enter to start new paragraph with no indent. I guess FG lacks a true word proccessor program ? Or maybe I'm computer challenged as it has been suggested ? LOL I've built these things from scratch but I don't know how to use any particular program without a little trial and error.

Well guys, I have tried it every which way that I know how. Here is a vertical list of questions, that I will try, as I always do, on EVERY forum on the net that I'm a member of. Here goes:1. Why can't I get this to work?2. I sure hope it doesn't work now, and make me look stupid!3. Man it sure looks like it's going to work with all of these questions spaced apart, in NEW paragraphs as they SHOULD be.4. HOWEVER, EVEN though it LOOKS like a bunch of seperate lines right NOW, 5. AFTER I hit the "REPLY" or "SUBMIT NEW THREAD" button, it does NOT WORK.6. AFTER the forum redirects me to the page and shows my post, each seperate paragraph that I wrote is all bunched together in ONE SINGLE paragraph.7. Man I wish I could figure this out. 8. I just knew that many of you would have NO PROBLEM posting seperate paragraphs, and I would be the only one to look stupid! 9. That's usually how it goes for me.10. Here's one LAST try for number TEN, just to see if I actually get 10 SEPERATE lines when I hit the "SUBMIT REPLY" button. Here goes (oops, I lied, this is line NUMBER ELEVEN) LOL!.. NOW do you guys see what I mean?

Oh man, Paul I'm sorry you're having this problem, but it happens from time to time. Do this..

1. within internet explorer, tools, options, security select "default" settings on all internet zones..

2. Read through this:

http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...ting-post.html

One of these will fix you're problem. This may resolve other annoying issues you're browser is giving you. Please post your results. Thanks dude!

Working here.

I think.

Just hit Enter twice to get a blank line between paragraps.

This is in quick reply.

Ok guys,
I just switched over to the "Standard Editor" as one guy said doing so, helped him in a previous instance where this happened on this forum.
I don't know what it is about THIS forum, but it's the ONLY forum where I've EVER had this problem, and there are a NUMBER of other guys who have been having the same problems.
I am typing in a bunch of different paragraphs in this post right now to test the results.

I SERIOUSLY hope this works. Here goes guys!

One more time (line) to see what happens!

No, I knew it wasn't a security issue. I NEVER have ANY type of issue like that on ANY forum, for the past 10 years or more.
Thanks so much.

I was having this problem also on a new box I just built. With help from our techie, the cure was found. It's very easy. Hit Control and F5. It will do a refresh that cures the problem. Hope this will help anyone else with the problem.
