The deal is that I am only a 30 minute drive from Jtec, I am local to them and I can bring the plane home with me and not have to worry about it getting damaged in shipping.

The plane looks great, but am I the only one that thinks the elevators are really small? Does it have enough elevator authority?

Stock throw is 12 degrees. ( we Do IMAC and 3D at that rate) They're not small by any means. What you don't see is counterbalances because the "300" midwing did not have them.

Actual elevator is 6" at the root and 4.75 at the tip. You can get 45 to 50 degrees of throw. Way to much!!!!!!!!!

IMAC is like 7 deg.

Does the cowl come pre-mounted. On that plane (after I realized it was even there), the cowl looks a little shovel-nosed? Other than that it's a winner !
