i use a jr pcm9x11 and would like to know how to set it up for split elevators on a cap 232. i bought the cap with the servos installed with a y lead . this is my first venture into large planes . thanks for any help

It depends on what radio........
JR radios have under the flight mode section a value called DElev or dual Elevators. You must select this. One elevator goes in the Elevator channel and the other goes in Aux 3( I think). If you have a manual it will be expained in there in detail.

If you use a y harness, either one of the servos are reversed or you have a reversing y harness. If that's the case you would just connect it to the elevator on the receiver. Then manualy make adjustments with the linkage to get equal throw. If you use a radio mix take out the y harness. Also I usually take two long carbonfiber rods and tape them like a V on the elevators so they make a v behind the rudder. This way I can track there movement up and down and see if they have a different amount of throw\ degree of travel. I will see if I can find out some more info for you.

thank you, btw i have to use the standard y lead as i would have to do a lot of stripping to get it out of the fusalage, so as you can see i need to use a radio mix
