Default Livermore/East Bay 3D demo for IAC 38

Hello,

I am a member of the Northern California chapter of the International Aerobatic Club (IAC 38). I would like to put together a 3D flying demo in the Livermore area as one of our chapter meetings this year. I did this in 2006, and it was popular despite some issues with our demo pilot being unable to make it at the last minute. Right now all I've got are small models and I'd love to have the chapter get to see some good, larger scale 3D and IMAC flying.

If anyone has any suggestions for a 3D fly-in/event/competition in the area, that would be perfect, or if a couple people wanted to do demo specifically for IAC38 that would be great too!

Our meetings are generally held on the second Sunday of every month typically at the Livermore airport. Last year we drove out to the Livermore Flying Electrons strip, but I'm aware of the EBRC field which has lots of 3D activity it seems.

Any feedback or help you can offer would be much appreciated!

The demo is this weekend at the Skyliners flying site in Tracy: http://www.tracyskyliners.com

Greg Milosevich and Zak West will be flying so it should be an awesome show! Of course there will also be full scale aerobatics going on too. What better way is there to spend a Sunday!

There was some seriously impressive flying going on! I want to once again thank Zak and Greg for all their help in setting up, and flying such a professional demo, and most of all for their awe-inspiring flying! I'm ready to see some more!!

I also want to thank the Tracy Skyliners RC Club for allowing us the use of their flying facilities!

Here are some photos from the event:
