Out of the three 35% air frames which would you choose, take into consideration that this plane will just be for fly'n around. QQ 102" Yak, Aeroworks 100cc Extra 260 or Wild Hare 35% Extra 300.

Any of them would work for just flying around. If you eventually want to get into 3D/IMAC, the QQ Yak is the way to go. Best all around airplane period!

I'm 52 here and the old thumbs don't work as well as they use to. I'm just looking for a good plane that I can take to the field on a Saturday and have some fun with. I've been back flying for about 2 years now after being out of the hobby for a long time, I've only seen one or two of the QQ planes. My friend has a couple of Wild Hare Extras and I have a couple of the AW QB series Yaks a 50cc and a 75cc, I'm looking to move up to the 100cc class but would like to try something different than the AW, they are excellent fllyers but want something different. I here that QQ customer service is also great.

Wild Hare. If a budget is an issue then you can use the DA 85 on it and have plenty of power.

Take a look at the PAU 36% Edge, too! It will fly great on either the DA-85 or DA-100!!! This plane is starting to create a buzz!!!!

If your just flyin around I guess the first thing you should do is narrow it down to a specific airframe. Extras and Yaks are much differant looking planes, The Extra is elegant and sexy looking like a shark and Yaks look like an ugly old large mouth bass LOLOL!! Having said that I have to admit that out of those choices the QQ Yak is the best all around plane.

The QQs are nice but the scheme is gettin old.

Why pay extra for a fancy name? Wild Hare flys as good or better than anything out there. If you want a Yak then you have to look elsewhere unless you're willing to consider a better flying plane, like the 35% Sukhoi.
Yak and Extras fly a little differently from each other. You'l find that out on the first down line or the first spin. |
