Default Kiwi/Loco power system??

Hey guys...

i looking to put together a indoor depron plane, probably a MS Loco from wattsup.

i want to know what is a good power system for these planes (i dont even know how many watts these things need to fly well). i am quite keen on the hyperion gear, as i have a fair bit and it all works well for me. Is one of the little Hyp Z17 brushless and good start?

i will prob need a new esc as the smallest i have is a Hyp. titan 20.

what size batteries do these planes generally use?

i regularly get stuff from tower in the states, so any suggestion from there is cool.

thanks...

My favorite power system is as follows:

- E-Flite Park 250 motor
- Thunderbird 6 speed controller
- GWS 8x4HD propellor
- 2cell 450mah Li-po battery
- Dymond D=47 servos
- Spektrum Radio with lightened AR 6100 receiver.

Or alternatively a GWS 4ch Pico receiver.

If you need any other help or advice let me know.

Alex

That sounds like a good setup!

Just keep it as light as possible. My Locos range form 105g to about 125g. Here are a few examples http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=649629
