Fromeco Batteries Prices everywhere Change

Maybe someone can explain to me before I order another 6 Fromeco 5200 MaH batteries. Was online getting ready to order some batteries for my 40% Carden and 42% 260 and noticed that the prices of the batteries have gone up a full $20 bucks per pack. What is going on here, is it due to the release of the new A123 packs or is there something else to it. Maybe someone can help. Should I keep buying the Fromeco packs or is the A123 packs better? Whats the deal?

In fact I heard that all li-ion and li-po packs will go up slightly.

Shogunmst, The disturbutor for the cells that Fromeco uses when up alot on price of the cells. The new cost for the cells caused the price per pack to go up. There is nothing wrong with cells that they are supplying now. In fact I have an order on the way to my house now. Fromeco still makes the best batteries packs out there bar none. It's your choice if you want to stay with the Li-Ion cells or switch to the A123 packs the Fromeco sells. Remember if you go with the A123 to also use the Kodiak switch from Fromeco.

The factory was not destroyed in a fire, just the demand has gone thru the roof for the cells that are used by Fromeco.

They must be good cells, that's all I use.

Two days ago I filled up with gas and it was $2.81 now it is $3.10.

That's because the price of oil is going up, mostly due to the value of the US Dollar going down vs. other currencies. It's probably a good chunk of the reason for the price increases on the batteries as well....

I don't know about you, but it's hard for me to find something that hasn't clearly increased in price in the last year or so..... this is the first time I can ever remember seeing my costs for everything go up- not just hobby related stuff. I'm feeling it in my business, my household and my hobby.

On the other hand, I don't know anyone who is saying they are clearly making more money now than before....
