Default Perfect setup for an IMAC Plane

Could some of the experienced pilots explain how they have set up their planes for some of the new people?

Its all Pilot preference.

You want to be as tailheavy as possible, and I have found that the rolls are much more axial if only one aileron does the work. I have my rudder set for 68 degrees of throw and elevators set for 57 degrees, Expo is for wussies, so don't use it.

Go with 1 Hs-55 on all surfaces and a gws pico receiver. I recommend a 100ma 4cell nicad for power. And for an engine, a Cox .010, should be a really puller.

I don't think a Cox .010 will work Kiwi. Thanks for starting this thread BK, I'm wanting to start IMAC sometime. Bodyworks, thanks for posting your setup. I will trim my plane to fly as such.

You have to go with a Wren turboprop(turbine) and a constant speed prop!

Don't you have to start with NiCad's and graduate to 123s?

Prop selection is important. On a 150cc: two blade Bolly 30-10. On a 100cc: two blade Menz 26-10 or 27-10. 50cc: Go home, we don't like yer kind here.
