Mine is built, just waiting for the radio gear now, will hoepfully get the plane maidened this weekend!
My setup: Saito 82 with APC 14x4w prop Futaba 3010's on all surfaces Hitec 225MG mini on throttle Futaba R138DF rx 6v 1800mAh batteries should be awesome! will provide some pics when I can, I have got the other colour scheme!

Mine is now ready to go bar a prop, but the weather is rubbish, so looking like it will be maidened next weekend.
Dead easy build, the usually superb quality from EF, should be ballistic on the Saito! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Did you need to widen the mount for the 82 ?
What servo arms did you use ? I have the Dubro Super-Strength with JR 821's and they don't clear the sheeting

Do you have an aluminum back plate on that spinner or are you just taking the gamble with the plastic one? Great looking plane BTW! and clean gear install!

Graham once again.....very nice work. You gonna use a 14x4W prop on the Saito? Let me know how you like your new edition to your EF line.
Are you planning on getting the 110" Yak? Take care |

thanks for the comments guys,
Pale rider, yes I did need to widen the cut out slightly for the saito to fit but not too much, they are by a company called Pete Tindal over here in the UK, but just use what you are happiest with, I am running the Futaba 3010 servos if that helps? Spaz, already done it mate, just when I took the piccy the tape wasnt over the xtal! ![]() Prybar, I am just going to use the plastic one, could have gone mad with the gear I used but wanted to keep it fairly cheap, I can't see it being a problem though. Rush7, yep will be using the APC 14x4w if I can ever get hold of one! the weather is rubbish anyway so I doubt I could have flown it this weekend, so it looks like next weekend now. I don't know about the yak, I may wait for the big extras to come out and get one of those instead, will have to see ![]() Here is a video of Naths profile: I will get one up as soon as mine has flown, cheers

Great plane guys, I've been flying a kit built Chinn Yak for over a year. You can't go wrong with this one. I was waiting for mine to die before getting tha ARF version. I think I'll just get a back up now. I will not be without a Chinn Yak!
