A prop to consider on the os ax 55 would be the 12.25x3.75 apc. Its all i use on that motor with a 4 and half pound profile. Excellent for all out 3d and throttle responce. With the tower can muffler this thing is a rocket for the price.

My 2 cents

If you honestly did not receive them with the model I'm sure that EF would help you out in this situation.

Then.....why did you claim you did not recieve "them" with the model??? Or....are you talking about the measurements? No measurements/plans are going to come with this ARF-are the pieces so bad that you cannot "piece" them back and get a rough idea of where to begin constructing new tail feathers?

Hey Guys -

I picked one up from a fella on rcuniverse and he originally had a Saito 82 in it. I am going to put my ys 63 in it but trying to figure out the best way to mount it. Any pics of how you guys got it mounted. I mocked mounted it and the servo arm is well under so I will have to do a very big bend to get the servo arm to the lever for the throttle.

How does this do for ya?

Throttle servo pushrod exits some antenna tube poking out of the lower portion of the wing.

Thanks for the pics Matchless, I will take a pic in a moment to show you what I am dealing with. Can I see a pic of the actually throttle arm linkage setup if possible.

I think I may have to rebuild some of the area he dremeled out.

Here are some pics of the nose of my yak. The fella that originally had it had a saito 82 on it and he had to dremel out the area to fit it. Now it seems like I have to rebuild that area in order to get my ys 63 to fit.

What are your recommendations ?

Be careful of the upthrust/downthrust angle. You could use blind nuts to secure the engine bolts to the mount

Hey Rcflyer -- Thanks for the reply. If you look at the last pic you will see that I have no wood to grab with the bolt. for the top section and also for the bottom.

It will smoke pretty good with the 30% heli fuel. I wouldn't suggest you add any other smoke systems to the plane. You want to keep the weight down as low as you can.

Just completed my New Chin Yak sp. The plane is sweet! Im gonna Maiden her tomorrow! The saito 82 has monster power on a plane of this size and wieght! I put a micro pump and centered a small smoke tank that I made through the fusalage. This is the first time I added smoke to my Chin. I't put me right on my C.G at 5 3/8 inch! I'll let you know how it went and ill have some Vidio tomorrow! 14/4 prop,7.4 volt 2500 mah pack, saito 82, HTec HS 7965MG Coreless Digitals all around and Htec speddy servo on the throttle, micro smoke pump and 4.8 once custom Titanium tank for the smoke! Happy Flying!
