Default Micro Hitec Digitals

Does anyone know when Hitec's new micro digitals are coming out? They've been advertised forever!

tower now shows late june/july. I have become tired of waiting and going to try some of these http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=5503 on a 55" pattern plane and I will try some other sizes http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...&ParentCat=189 if they work alright.

Fair bit cheaper than Hitecs as well.

Here is their website http://www.ino-lab.co.kr/

Ehh, I'd prefer Hitec servos over ANYTHING on this planet.

I'm going up to RCX in two weeks, so I'll ask the guys up there when they are comming out.

I'll try the new Hitecs as soon as they come out. I'm dying to get the 5065s. I already have the new programmer.

I've tried the new Spektrum digital servos and am quite pleased with them. The programmer for them is only $25. There is an S-75 and an S-60 equivalent, and the prices are very good. They don't have all the programmable features as the Hitecs, but you can set the mode (airplane, heli, or tail rotor) center and endpoints. These are great servos for foamies.

Futaba has a 3156 that's the same size as a 3114 and is metal geared and digital. Not sure what size servo you guys are looking for, it's a 9g-sized.

The Futaba 3154 is a great servo. It is not metal gear, however. I've used that, and the 3114 as well. The 3154 is expensive compared to the new Spektrum ($32 vs $20) and is not programmable. I won't say the Spektrum is a better servo, not until I have some more experience with them, but so far they look great.

The Hitec 5055 is metal gear, but is slower than the others and not as much torque as the Futaba. That is, if you can believe the manufacturer's specs.

I am more interested in the HS-5065 for the larger electrics. I've used a lot of the HS-65 servos in several planes and really am pleased with those. The digital version should be awesome.

Oops, I should have said 3156, sorry about that. I'll edit my previous post. It's more of a comparison to the HS-65, I've run it against a HS-65.

Ok, I have not tried the 3156 yet. I'll have to get a couple to try.

I have 3156 on cyclic in my trex. They dont sing like my other digi, but perform good. The horns are very thin. Anyone know what proper horns fit?

The horns for the 3103/3107 will fit. I posted a few observations about them in This Thread
