I'm really Happy to see that 3-D Flying at Gateway RC is starting to really get rolling...I lived in Jacksonville,after retirement,for 5 years, and soloed in Fernandina in 1998...at that time, 3-D was TABOO, everywhere....I was addicted to everthing about 3-D in 1996, after seeing most of the sponsored pilots flying the noon shows, in Deland, and around southern florida...I truly hope that this Show really gets going, and will continue thru the years to come...

Jeff and I are already talking about next year! But we are truly going to have a great time at this years event. It is already going to be hard to top this one and we have not even started this one yet!

Can't make it this time,

but I do plan on being there next season...I plan on visiting Jax. in April or June this season...I usually come down and spend 2 or 3 weeks and do some Huckin,and spend some time, with my 3-D students, that I have met along the way...I consider Jax. my real home, but things do happen, and thats why Im back in the Cold North...ha.....I will be checking the site, for Info. and pictures...I hope they have a great turn out.......

I found a good map for you guys, if you’re coming from the South you may want to take 295 all the way up due to the construction in town on 95, coming from the North once you pass the airport exit the next one is 295. I will post the signs at the Lem Turner exit off of 295 just so you know your on the right track.

Which way does the wind usually blow. At your face, behind u, left or right?? Friday will be E 6mph and Saturday will be N 6mph. Which way will it be blowing considering the way the runway sits??
