a few questions about this plane as i may be about to get one!
What prop is evryone settling on for a da-100 on this plane?
also are people finding x1 rudder servo is enough or is it better to use two?
my da is on MTW cans, if i change to re2 pipes will it help performance or is it fine with the cans? i'm at sea level

Thanks in advance!

Oh yeah the one im getting is the limited edition russian thunder but i have not seen pics from underneth the plane, can someone help?

Bam Bam,

A Mejzlik 28x10 is hard to beat. Some are having good results with one servo on the rudder. I started with one and switched to two later. You will have plenty of power with the cans but it will have more power for sure with the RE-2's. The under side of the fuse is grey and the bottom of the wings are white just like the full scale.

Yes. I think it is. I had a set of cans laying on the bench I could have used. I sold them and bought a set of pipes. The power to weight with the DA-100 and pipes is great.

Hi! soon I will start to build my 110" Yak (can't wait to get it) I ordered the new Russian Thunder Scheme. Power will be the Evolution 116cc with Cannisters, 7955's all around (two on the rudder) and an Smartfly EQ6 for power distribution. Why the Evo? Because I have seen that engine's performance and it has the devil inside! Not a big fan of Da's (I have an DA 85cc) and in a year has only problems with it. Also have a 3W 170cc , a Mintor 110cc, and Evo 58cc and a DL 50cc all performing great! So I will give a try at the 116cc. It weights the same as the Mintor 110, 6.7lbs with the ignition, prop bolts and prop washers. Will post some pictures as soon as I get the plane next week!

What pipes?

50mm is the right drop. 11" is the standard length
