Chris and Tim did some of the most precise flying there with the 110" Yak's. They both sounded unique. chris's with the 4 cylinder and Tim's with the carbon pipes, they sounded cool. It is pretty amazing how axial they roll, when you watch the cowl it just looks like the paint is turning around the cowl, it's on a string. And it's one of the only 54's with scale lines. Good stuff!

This Yak does fly very straight and is nice and stable. It will also do any 3D manuever you can do and some you cant!
As Kelly said, its very axial.....and the 4 cylinder on Chris' plane is very quiet but when the throttle is pushed forward, it really sounds mean.

Here is a cool idea...why dont you stop putting it off and work on your 3W Yak, then, after you get it done, you can practice hovering on the sim!

Sure,no prob. But first a few exercises.Instead of using chopsticks to catch a fly,I will have you drink beer and chase ducks.Once you catch one,you will be ready to learn hover!

The 116 will do an excellent job with a Mejzlik 30*10, spins it at +/- 6100rpm, depending on where you live (air-pressure)

Greetz.

Ahh, but first he must learn...Covering Off, Covering On...then Rudder off, Rudder on, then Servos out, Servos in. Then comes the Duck chasing. Then he can learn the art of hovering. Most important of all 3D "tricks"!

Man and all this time I thought low inverted passes were coolest of all 3D tricks. Well I guess I better go stock up on the Bud and find a duck.
The only problem is....... What in the world do you do with the duck once you catch him?
