Carden 40% CAP-Need Fuselage Plans
I have a Carden 40% CAP that needs some extensive re-work on the fuselage including a new hatch, but I don't have the full-size plans. Does anyone have the plans for the fuselage laying around that they could part with?

Just call Carden, Dennis sold me a set of plans for a 13 year old kit that I picked up un-started, but missing the plans. I had heard stories of him not wanting to sell plans if you were not the original buyer, but I got that legendary Carden service.

I talked with Dennis and he had all the parts I needed in stock, but the plans were out of stock and it would be a few weeks before he had any to send me. I figured someone here would have a set they were no longer needing and I could get started re-building sooner. Jack |

jack.. does that happen to be ian's cap? if so, i gave him the plans when i sold it to him. if it is not ian's, ask him.. he should have them

Andy, yes it's Ians. I did not know he had them (should have asked I guess). He gave me the plans to his Carden 260 when he dropped both of them off, I just assumed he did not have the CAP plans.

Did Ian sell them, or are you finishing them out for him?
BTW, the hatch doesn't really have plans for it. I'm building a 32% Yak right now, and it just shows the hatch sitting on the fuse. It's not hard to build a hatch though. |

The 260 I am going to finish out for Ian. The CAP I am repairing for myself. Basically I am going to have to build a whole new fuselage, that is why I am needing the CAP plans. I have the foam for the hatch and turtledeck on the way from Carden, along with a new canopy.

Does anyone know what the control throws are for the 40% 232? I bought one and need to set that up. I have the 9303 and have three settings. So if there are low mid and high please send.
