I don't want to hijack Dubd's thread here but I'll say this.

Quique once told me that the MTW cans took away about 200 rpm compared to the stock mufflers. I used them anyway on my QQ 102" Yak and it flew great and had plenty of power, but did notice that other Yaks with DA100/mufflers out powered me a bit. Now seeing the sparkling performance of my Python with mufflers really confirms his comments. So I'd say you would probably want to unload the prop a little to a 27A with MTW's. And if you find that the cannisters produce an odd power band near the hover like I found on my Yak, try a 26B to change hover rpms and help that effect. That's what I still fly on that plane with MTW's and it works well.

Thanks fellas! I can't wait to fly her!

Regarding the Antennas: 1.) I placed one near the left switch, against the cannister box. 2.) Another near the switch on the left side. 3.) Towards the rear under the rx batteries.

Robert, I sent you an email stating that I want to change my 27A prop to a 27B based on your recommendation. Is the Vess prop okay to run during break-in?

FYI I found on mine if your not useing pipes the balance is a little more tricky Batts need to be moved back behinde rudder servos. Everything else is per the book. Mine can out right on the Numbers per Manual just had to move my Fromeco 5200 packs back a little.

It fly's AWSOME

BTW I went with a 26x 12 MEzj couldnt be a better combo... my prefrence.

Fromeco lithium-ion batteries are providing the juice and everything is controlled by the new Spektrum AR9100 receiver and JR X9303 2.4Ghz transmitter. I am waiting for a carbon prop and spinner from Chief Aircraft and some FG stickers! I will maiden the plane this Sunday.
Congrats Dantley! Another beauty!!!

When are you going to maiden it. I'm taking the SAT this weekend and my class ended so I might be able to see your maiden!

Your order change has been noted. And, all I can say is that all of us around my area do bolt on Vess Props right from the start. The "B" will not lug your DA-100 and that's the only issue to consider during break-in.
