Default Dalton 35% Extra260 build Part1

Here are some pictures of build, cover and final for a Dalton kit Extra 260 35% that I won atlast years IMAC competition (drawing). I also won a DA-50, but swapped up to a DA-85 with Desert Aircraft Build Pictures

I was the lucky guy who got to maiden..I only had one click of left trim..perfect on every respect..The DA-85 is a powerhouse and the planes lands like a foamy!
This was Phil's first kit built plane..and shows that the Dalton kit is an easy build and well documented and supported by Dalton team!

What did you use to sheet the surfaces with. I did not notice the surfaces weighted down. It looked like they were only clamped between the foam. Just curious.

The finished plane looks nice. How does the 85 pull it? Any video?

Just curious...why did you change the rudder from a push-pull set up to a pull-pull??

The DA-85 was still new..and somewhat rich, but the plane leaped off the ground, pulled hard like a 40% with DA-100. I liked so well, I have changed my mine on getting an 85 instead of a 100 for my 102" QQ. I also find the 85 very smooth compared to my 3w80xi, but of course not as smooth as as a twin DA-100.

How is the 35% doing. Are you happy with it and the 85. Would you see a need for putting a 100 on it.

Thanks
